Fitting Better All The Time

The other day I was upset because I wasn't able to weigh myself. I usually use the scale at my university's gym, but was informed that since I was taking under seven credits I couldn't use the gym for free.
I hadn't weighed myself on a reliable scale for about two-three weeks, and I needed to know if I was making progress.
So I looked at one of my goals. This goal is to lose weight so I can fit into older clothes. I have a lot of cute clothes that are in good shape that I haven't been able to fit into for awhile (anywhere from 1-6 years).
So today I decided a way I could measure my progress was by trying on clothing that hasn't fit me in a while. I tried on a couple of different coats that about a month ago were too tight. To my surprise I was able to button them both, without them being too snug! I even wore my pea coat during some errands I had to run today. I was so excited, it was like I had just bought a brand new coat!
I have decided to use clothing to gauge weight/inch loss. I will go back to the scale when I have the opportunity, but for now I will work with what I have.
