Sushi, homestyle

Heavens to Betsy! I've gone ahead and tried my hand at making some vegetarian sushi tonight in my home. I have grown sick and tired of paying exorbiant prices at sushi houses just to satisfy my craving, so I decided to pick up the ingredients and try it myself.

OH EMM GEE. While my sushi rolls may never win the prettiest sushi roll prize, they are GOOD. And cheap. I stuffed myself for what likely amounted to less than 4$ in total. And that's being generous.

At our local sushi house, it would have cost me 12.99 PLUS taxes.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not likely to ever venture into making my own raw fish sushi at home. I'll just stick with the vegetarian stuff. But considering that's all I eat when I go out, no biggie right?

I'm off to roll myself around a little bit in ecstasy.

have a roll or 2 around for me since i've never had vegetarian sushi before. since i'm not a huge fan of fish, i will have to look out for this option now. although, there are not many places in my area that cater to that frame of mind at the best of times, so i have to be careful. and you saved a good amount of cash, too! it doesn't have to look good to taste good, right??
