Don't fall over but I finally did blog! JUNE UPDATE!

June update:

I came out of the gate like a BULL and ended like a steer… LOL

I am still happy with my accomplishments for June.

Starting weight May 24th, 2010: 201.4
Ending weight June 30th 196.0
Lost 5.4 lbs

Measurements on left were taken 3-8-10
Then I hit the plateau end of March and most of April. Then I put on that 7 stinkin’ lbs in May.
Hit the restart button May 24th. So I have kicked to the curb 5.4 lbs of that 7.

Starting measurements for May 24th are in the middle column.
Ending measurements for June 30th are on the right.
I had put back on 7.25 inches and as of June 30th I have removed 6.5 inches.

Waist (natural): 35/ 36.5/ 35 (-1.5)
At Bellybutton: 40/ 42/ 40.5 (1.5)
Hips: 45.5/ 46.25/ 46 (-.25)
L. Thigh: 26/ 26.75/ 26.5 (-.25)
R. Thigh: 26/ 26.75/ 26.5 (-.25)
L. Arm: 14/ 14.5/ 13 (-1.5)
R. Arm: 13.5/ 14/ 13 (-1)
Neck: 15/ 15.5/ 15.25 (-.25)

Ai I lost 6.5 inches total since May 24th.

So I am happy with this progress although I felt it could have been more. But the reality is this:

We can always try harder.

I am struggling with exercising regularly.

I eat well and stay on track there.

I go all day long and do lots of heavy cleaning.

I just struggle with intentional exercise.

So are you guys ready to ROCK JULY!

PS I apologize about saying I was going to blog daily and did so for awhile and then stopped.

I had a really hard month with some family things and major workload and simply did not have any extra time. I seriously doubt I got more than 6 hours of sleep ANY night in June. Usually just 4 or 5 hours and sometimes that was by getting 3 hours than getting up for an hour and then getting 2 more later.

Here is a picture of some flowers I cut out of my yard tonight. I believe they are Hollyhock and Crepe Myrtle.

    i am new to your story, but wow you lost weight! good for you.....

    i used to go, go, go too, but some other sparker inspired me to get my full zzzzz's every night, and ever since i feel better....i used to go to be at 11 or 11:30--now it's 10 pm and i read.....

    WAY to go on the blog tonight :) I've read so many July goal blogs that I am thinking I ought to be thinking about that too!

    The flowers are lovely. Hollyhocks are such a regal flower. Do yours get a rust on the leaves? Is so, what do you do for that?

    The point I hope you will focus on, is that DESPITE setbacks, family problems, lack of sleep and an increased work load,

    YOU LOST 5.4 POUNDS!!!!! You rock!!

    The best thing you can do is see your success, learn some new tricks for how you can improve and keep on going! If it were the old me (perhaps the old you?) With all you faced in June, it would have been a 5.4lb gain. You didn't! THIs is about creating a healthy life... and that's going to come with a little roller coaster, and a little ebb and flow. The important thing is that you continue to look forward, never give up and keep your goals in sight.

    Hey Sweetie,

    Love your blog of progress! Yessss....wonderful, truly wonderful! Truly happy for you I am. I fell right over.....didnt expect to see a blog here, and then got myself collected and the title was..."Dont fall over~I did a blog." time I'll set down first! Have had a little practice with falling~this time it was a soft landing. ;o)

    I so need to get you a note typed up. Not sure the energy is here tonight. Yesss this is from both my fall and my concussion. It's just going to take time to heal, especially with the nerve issues that arent sparking with my brain at this time. The computer is upstairs....master bedroom on the main floor. Now you know where my sleep walking led me to. Yep that online time I never remember anyway...not without rereading, and praying I was light hearted and friendly. lol So far so good...that I am aware of.

    Keep up the great work my dear. You are doing well. Missing you much and appreciating how you check on me very regular. Yummy the weenie cone was delish! Thanks for not putting a pickle in it! ha I used to eat hotdogs way back when, and then when health nut set in~no how no way~havent in years! You just have a few for me and all will be GREAT! Deal?

    Ya I had family issues that kept me awake lots also. Hope they are over for you.

    I also struggle with exercise. It has been easier for me now that I'm on vacation cause I get up and do it first thing in morning. Just keep at it. You have to make it a habit.(takes 2 weeks to form a habit) emoticon
