What a difference 6 months makes!

Thursday, July 01, 2010

Wow! It it so hard to believe that 6 months of the year has gone already. I swear time goes faster the older I get! What will it be like when I'm 70? So I thought I should share a few results on my six month anniversary of re-starting my Spark program after baby. So, here goes.....(drumroll)

Starting weight 1/1/10: 205.5 Current weight 1/7/10: 170.2 35 pounds lighter!
Tummy: 47 inches Tummy: 39.5 7.5 inches lost!
Thigh: 27.5 inches Thigh: 23 inches 4.5 inches lost!
Arm: 14 inches Arm: 12.25 1.75 inches lost!

I am really over the moon with these results. I've had a few weeks now where I have not lost at all, but I KNOW things are happening. I just need to keep my perspective. I'm looking forward to what the next 6 months will bring. I am hoping to lose another-and final-25 pounds which will bring my nicely into my healthy BMI range. I'd also like to give running a go. I'll be taking each and every day as they come.

I'm so looking forward to sharing future successes with you all-and the little bumps in the road along the way. And I will not be waiting so long before my next blog! (Thanks for the push, Lin! You are a true Spark friend.)

And you should be over the moon! Wowza!

Those are just fantastic results. I love the six month posts - because they really are a testament to what can be accomplished by warrior with a plan. Anything. Absolutely anything.

And just think - where will we be in another 6 months?! Mindboggling to think about it -really.

See you at the finish line, gorgeous, where we will still be hotties but smaller ones :)

    Let's rock this thing!!!

This year has certainly flown by. Be proud of your accomplishments! We all know how much hard work is involved!

Also for running? Go for it! I just started this week and I have always thought that running was NOT me at all. Fat girls don't run! SP has wiped that thought out of my mind and I am loving running so far. I can comfortably run up to 1.5 miles at 196 pounds! If I can do it, emoticon
