This morning I completed my first full week of the C25k program!
This run was actually a little harder than the other 2, which sucks, but I've thought about it a lot and I think there are three things that contributed to my sluggishness- not sleeping enough, not hydrating enough, and eating too much (I only had a serving of reduced fat wheat thins, but I still think it sat heavy in my tummy). Plus there was a serious head-wind that didn't help the situation.
That being said, I've set some goals to meet before starting Week 2 on Sunday:
1. Go to bed sooner;
2. Drink more water (at least 48oz daily); and
3. find a better snack to eat before my morning workout.
The first two are pretty simple- I just need to do it. The last one, however, is tricky. I've considered just not eating before going out, but my blood sugar is temperamental, so I don't want to risk passing out. Plus I have acid reflux AND take medications, so I need some kind of substance in my stomach when I take them. So I dunno...
