So Far So Good

When I first started with SparkPeople about two weeks ago, I thought that I must be crazy to be signing up so close to our first vacation away from home this summer. (We have two this year.) But, you know what? I'm glad that I did! I was tired of waiting for that healthier lifestyle start date to come. I was tired of putting it off. What was I waiting for? I wasn't waiting for anything. I was just procrastinating!

I feel quite proud of myself. Our trip is about 1/2 over, and I have made some very good choices for myself. I haven't gotten my cardio or water in, though. I decided to really focus on the nutrition with this trip. I'll work on nutrition and water on the next vacation. Eventually, I'll have a handle on all of my goals while on vacation (add in exercise).

    Wow -- I'm not even on vacation, and you're doing better than I am the last couple days. My "excuse" is I've been extremely busy at work. So I've eaten stuff I shouldn't and haven't been tracking for a couple days. Bad me!!! emoticon

    I am really impressed by your committment! I wish I had your discipline and will power. I know I'm not following 100 percent, but it does make me more aware of the choices I need to make. It will all come together and when the scale starts to move on the decline I know "that" will be a big spark....hahahahaha...I used the word "spark"....to really motivate me.
