How Do You Get to Be Able to Do More Pushups?

By doing them of course! And that's just what I'm going to do when I finish work in about 15 minutes.
I need to do some strength training! - hasn't happened since last Friday! I also bike commuted for about 30 minutes today.
I ate really horribly and way too much the last two days, so I have gotten back on track by eating a good, protein-rich breakfast this morning, a healthy lunch, and I have planned out the rest of my day's meals. I feel like I will be eating sooo much and still staying under 1600 cal, because I am eating a lot of fiber (31g!) and protein. Yay!
It is still difficult for me to eat sufficient fat and protein, but fat especially. I need to be very conscious to consume enough fruits and veggies and healthy fats.
This will help me stay fuller and not overeat carbs.
I feel very proud of myself for staying level-headed and getting back on track. No, I should not have used to fast and some stress as an excuse for stepping off the bandwagon, but at least I am getting on faster and easier than I would have in the past, and I deserve to give myself a lot of credit for that!
I don't want to regain the weight I lost - and it will happen quickly if I'm not careful! My legs look and feel a lot stronger, and my clothes are not as tight on me, especially in the waist. Small changes, but they are there.
