I'M SNEEKING A BLOG

Monday, June 28, 2010

Hey while Mom is on the phone, I thought I would borrow her computer and tell all her Spark Friends more about me. Mom reads you comments about me out loud so that I know you know me. I told her to tell you all you can pat me and rub my tummy. That is one of my favorite position with new friends. I love to let them rub my tummy.

I tought I would slip in while she is not looking and let you know I am worried about Mom. We were outside today and we were talking with our neighbor and he was rubbing my tummy, picking me up and loving on me. Well, he sat me down and the lady across the street came out (she is the mom of the other Coco in our neibhbohood). Well she spoke to all of us and said hi COCO so I charged across to see her. I heard Mom scream, the neighbors hollow and a loud noise. Mom was running after me screaming and ths car came to a sudden halt just before hitting her. She scooped me up hugged m and than began to really fuss st me. I do not understand her fussing as she was hugging me so tight. The man driving the car got out and was talking with the neighbors and Mom . Mom was shaking so bad. She was still fussing at me. Telling me I was not allowed near the street. Do not understand, as I have never been in the street before. Coco's Mom said she should never had called my name and she would not do that again. I know she and Mom talk a lot when they are out.

I have been with my Mom and Dad for just over two years. They look after me and usually do not fuss at me. When Mom picked me up to bring me home , she held my paw in her hand and told me there was a big man there and it was my job to wrap him around that little paw. I did not understand. I had never had to wrap anything around my paw. When he came home from work he just said well, I guess you got her. He did not pick me up or anything. I wondered how anyone that big would fit around my paw. It was going to make it hard to move. Well, the next day he went to work and Mom took me to Petsmart for shopping. I got to show off my personality to all the people there. Again that night, I was no sure how to use my paw with Dad. Bu Mom put me on the bed with Dad while he was napping and he just rumbled when I suggled up close to him. The next day Mom told me it was working. Of course, there was so much to do in the new house and there were things to pull on and shake. Mom got a crate to put me in. She told me when I learned what was off limits and she could trust me when she left home she would not put me in the crate. I know that everytime I ran by her with something in my mouth she would take it out and tell me no.
I guess I was here about a year when she would sometimes leave me out of the crate when she would go shopping or something. Sometimes when she would get home, she would pick up after me and tell me No it was too soon. Other times she would praise me for staying out of trouble.

Well, I hear her getting off the phone. I had beter get this off before she catches me.

    Coco,
This is MOMMASRASCAL, actually you can call me Rascal. Don't worry about "wrapping your paw around" Dad. That's an expression. Momma has one "YOU may be the man of the house but I still wear the pants in the family", which I don't understand cuz I wouldn't wear PANTS! Oh well, Just know that Mommas and Mamas love us and want us to stay safe. Even if they talk weird! Know too, I am a Spark friend; just dont tell anyone. Im a emoticon shhhh HUGS Rascal (lol and Laurie)

Gosh, Miss Coco, I'm glad you and your mom are safe. It can be scary out there in the big world when you're just a little pup. My little dog Samurai can fit between the space in my front gates - I usually keep an extra baby gate leaning against the space. One day, the baby gate fell, and Samurai squeezed thru to run and bark at a neighbor who was working on his car. Samurai stayed on the sidewalk, and the man wasn't upset (he was smiling at the 10 pound fierceness), but I was scared he would run into the street. My other little dog, Shalako, is too fat to get thru the space.
