Weigh In !

Friday, June 25, 2010

Went to Weight Watcher this morning for my weigh in and my total loss was 7.2 pounds. I could hardly believe it!!! I guess it showed me that I wasn't eating enough calories after all. I was trying to stick around 1300 calories and Weight Watchers has me eating just over 1600 calories. So glad to see the numbers going down!!!
It has been a very busy week with work. Working 26 hours the last few weeks, with only two days off, I'm tired but happy to get the hours so I can pay off this bill of mine and say goodbye to the job. I think they are sorry they allowed the other girl to become the part time manager. She went on a two week vacation and then called and said that she won't be back for 20 days total. They complained to me about it and I just looked at them and said"What do you want me to say?" They made their choice and now they will have to deal with it. Our supervisor wants her to be put back down as a salesperson, but I don't think thats going to happen, and even if they did and they came and asked to to take the position the answer will be NO. I'm in complete peace about leaving the job and taking the stress of finding rides off my shoulders! It will be an adjustment, but I'll have all the time I need to exercise then!!! And I can't wait!!!!

Linda, the cost of WW does mount up that's for sure. But I figured I would just do it until I leave work. When I lost almost 100 twice with them, and glad i didn't gain it all back so I know i learned something for all the time. Spent about 3000 dollars combined. Still cheaper than having surgery, which I will never do!!!
Doing it the hard way is the way I'm doing it!!! lol

WOW, Deb!! You are doing an AWESOME job!!! So glad you upped your calories and have you weight dropping again. WAY TO GO!!! I am sure that is where my problem is, not enough calories, but not sure how to up them when I am on limited carbs and limited protein. I will continue to take one day at a time and lose slowly, I guess. I am healthier and that is what counts!!!
Keep up the great work and enjoy your retirement when it comes. You will be doing all you can to get to the healthiest you can be.

Wow, Deb!!! Your loss is wonderful!! Congratulations. I'm so glad that you got it going so well. It IS frustrating when you try and try and have nothing to show for it.

I'm glad you are standing firm on your decisions. If we do what God wants us to do, that's all that matters.

    Hugs, Shirley

I hadn't been gaining at all, but the weight just wouldn't go down. I tired and tried to figure things out,but everything it just kept me where I was at. So i decided to go back to weight watchers and see if I could get myself moving again. There are a few of us at work that are doing Weight Watchers and are being accountable to etch other. I'm only going to go to weight watchers until I leave my job, I may take the last pack check and buy a package so that I can go until just before Christmas,by then I should have all my weight off that I want to lose, and I do know how to maintain it that's for sure. I have managed to get my prednisone down to 7mg this past week, and I only have a little stiffness in my hands but no pain, so I'm hoping I can get it down to 5mg by the time I see the doctor in Aug.I'm sure that's going to help with the weight loss.
How are things going with you? I'm sure your having a busy summer with camp and all. The Missionary church here has a family camp in Aug, and we are going to go to watch over our grand kids while their mom and dad take care of the things they are in charge of. My daughter found out last week, that there have been 5 cases of child malestation that have been investigated and prosecuted and she doesn't feel that she can now leave the kids in their classes without someone watching over them.So Don and I will be going for the week to watch over them. They are keeping it quiet which I feel is wrong, and I know that I will see one of the men that is the head of the board of the Missionary church while I'm there, and I think we'll be having a talk.

Wow Deb - how exciting. You hadn't been gaining had you! Such a mystery to me how one can not loose weight when eating less. Just shows what a intricate body God has created! Congratulations! Looks like you're making some healthy choices in other areas too. :o)
