Lifestyle vs crash diet

One thing that truely has me loveing the "Spark World" is that it is a lifestyle and not a crash diet..

its so much easier now when I have an "off" day or I ate junk or I didnt workout to say: "Thats okay, I messed up for lunch, but now it gives me all the more reason to have a healthy good dinner."

I used to be notorious for screwing up and indulging on a certain day, and instead of immediately getting back on track I would deem the day "a crapy eating day" and keep going with it! I would seriously go out and get icecream and find the chips/french fries and keep eating and eating because what gives? I already screwed up my day... "ILL START MY DIET TOMORROW" or "NEXT MONDAY ILL GET BACK ON TRACK."

im so glad those days are over!... I honestly feel its because im not on a diet anymore... im in a new lifesyle... I love it!! emoticon

    It is a lifestyle in which you are in control. As you stated, you can still can have your "cake" and "eat it" too! Diet is such a bad word! Taking charge of your life is a lifestyle change! Good for you! emoticon

    That is a great mindset. I have decided that I am on a health and nutrition plan that happens to cause me to lose weight. It keeps me going!
