We got up early this morning with so many errands to handle. Hubby wants a roll shelving for our enamel cash iron cookwear. It is really too heavy to get in and out of the cabinets that we have now. What he selected today will hold 300 lbs per shelf so it should be sufficient. Hubby wants to walk to the self and puts is hand on the piece that he needs to prepare a meal. Now he has to get down on the bottom shelf of our limited cabinets and hunt for the pieces.
We need doorskin to line our shelves at the market so that ur product with stand up properly and Lowes did not have it today. Any other type of product is too thick for what we need and will also be much heavier. We do not want to put more weight on the shelves than we need to to display our products. We need to make all the product visible to the customer so they will be interested.
Ran by our hair salon to set up an appointment this week for a trim for both of us. Hopefully, it will be Friday. Our stylist is to call us when she comes in tomorrow as the person there could not give us times that she has open.
We came home and Hubby took his little nap before going to work. I left at the same as he did as I had errands to run on the other side of town. I got there and started to shop. I am having a hard time with my size. Apparently, I have dropped to one of the most sold size and I do not want to stay there long. I am trying to find jeans, and slacks that are not too expensive as I have changed twice this year.......Cannot afford to spend big money on these right now. I lost first through my upper body and my shoulders, dropped sizes fast but not the rear end. Now the rear is starting to change quickly. I am trying to purchase some summer items that fit me. What I had last summer is really baggie. I will be taking them to market to sell. I have from size 24W to 18W in jeans that no longer fit. . I am sure that they will get me a couple of dollars each.
Well, I was trying to out run the storm and get home this afternoon. When I came out of the store I could see the storm coming. The sky was black to the east and the rain haze was intense. I could see the area that I live and the skies were blue with white clouds. I pulled out of the parking lot and the storm started to move into the area. I could still see the blue sky where I was headed. The storm apparently started moving faster and i had to drive 23 miles in rains where I could not see the hood of my car. Got home and pulled in my drive and sat there for another 30 minutes before the intense rain slowed so that I could get in the house.
When I came in, I knew that Miss Coco knew I was out there and was miffed at me for not coming right into the house. She charged through the door to go out, but was not interested in taking care of any business. She wanted to play with the cats which were not not where she could find them. They go into a little house in the back by the fence when the rain gets bad and she has not found them there as of this time. She checks every other nook and cranny that she can find. They did go under our house, but Hubby had to block them out as they keep ripping out the duct work for the heat and air. He sat up the little house in the back for them between the fence and the large utility building tuck back in the corner for their protection. I can go out the back door and call them and they will take a few minutes to stick their little heads around to make sure it is me. Hubby put it on a platform and turned it where it would be very hard for any dogs to get to them.
We have had several periods where people in the neighbor hood let there large dogs out to run after 11:00 at night and get them back in by 6:00 and then tell the neighbors their dogs never get out. They are never one but in lots of 3 or 4 like a pack and that is the way the act. When Hubby was working midnight, I would sit out in the dark with an air gun and wait on them to come by. Hubby use to get after me for doing this as he felt I was going to get myself hurt. I told one of the owners when they approached me that this is only an air gun but the one that I can use is not and he looked really funny as I said that. He gathered his animals up and I never say them again. If you do not have the area for these babes to run and be comfortable, then do not have them. Let them be somewhere that is good for their lifestyle. I love some larger doggies, but don't have them at my house because I do not have the room for them to be comfortable. When we retire and move to our 25 acres, I will be able to care for and enjoy a larger animal. Not long ago someone wanted to give Hubby a Saint Benard and he came home telling me. I walked him out into our yard and around our little bit of property and ask him where he was going to run, enjoy his life, etc. He agreed with me and told a friend the babe was available. They have over seven acres in a rural area where he could run and be comfortable with his space. They were able to give him a home that would befit his size.
