I went to a yoga class yesterday that was new to me. It was a "restorative yoga" it was the best workout I never had. 60 minutes of supported poses while you breathed deeply in a very quiet atmosphere. The instructor read a passage in the beginning that touched me deeply and kept my focus the entire class. It focused on fear and letting go to have faith.

In our lives we build up the fear in ourselves when things don't go the way we want or plan. If things don't look the way they should. The truth is we are afraid to let go and have faith that the way things are is the path we should go through. God has a plan and we are afraid to let go and have faith in letting go of a perceived control. After all control is an illusion. When we relax and give in to faith we float and rise to the occasion without knowing how it happens. He works that way. His way not mine. His time not mine. So instead of fighting the pounds I'm giving them to him and knowing as I stick to the path in front of me it will fall into place. I will just keep to the path of honoring my body and eating right and getting in the exercise. I'm just not going to sweat the timing anymore. I'm letting go of the wheel....
