slow and steady aka small steps, big results

Friday, June 18, 2010

I am so impatient. I want it and I want it now. Instant gratification. my fatal flaw.

I've always hated that about me.

The good news is that I recognize it and have been able to stifle it this time. Perhaps, i'm just wiser in my old(er) age. Perhaps, i've finally seen the spark.

Who knows? Whatever it is, it's working!

Slow and steady......

small steps, big results!

I could have written that blog because it fits me to a tee.
I am slowly making pogress, and I have to keep telling myself that I didn't gain the weight over night so the weight won't come off over night.
Keep up what you are doing and youbwill achieve your goals.

You keep that attitude up! Positive attitude, positive changes!
I'm the same way with wanting results, but I'm starting to measure my success in good choices, more stamina, that sort of thing. Less quantitative and more qualitative results. I end up seeing a lot more, faster, so it keeps me on track for success!

That's how the tortoise beat the hare. Remember it didn't go on overnight and it doesn't come off that way either. Glad you're seeing that for yourself this time. Keep up the good work and you'll be goal before you know it. emoticon
