Beck card for the day:
"When I want to eat something I shouldn't, do these things instead:

This is what I filled in: READ, BRUSH TEETH, COMPUTER, PUT LOTION ON HANDS, DO NAILS, GO TO BED, STOP AND THINK!
I have to admit this didn't work for me last night. I was snack-y and ended up eating peanut butter and crackers. I ended up eating 1900 calories for the day, which wasn't a train wreck BUT -- it wasn't planned eating, either.
I'm going to put forth additional effort today to plan my eating, and to use the strategy of DISTRACTION. When I feel snack-y while watching TV, I just need to pull the plug and go to bed and read!
Make it a great weekend, everyone -- why would you make it otherwise??
