Steps to Change

I'm taking steps to change ... literally. Not only am I walking more, I'm being purposeful about not taking short chuts that eliminate steps. I used to put anything that needed to go upstairs on the bottom step so I'd remember to bring it up next time I went. Now, I just bring it up right then. When I'm grocery shopping, I take the steps to return the cart to the holding place rather than just leaving it near my car after I unload the groceries. At work, I climb the stairs rather than take the elevator. Each time I do one of these purposeful activities, it's a reminder that I'm making life-long changes to live a longer life.
