I haven't given up on myself. For the past years I have maintained my weight. That is actually an accomplishment in itself. However, I know I can do better. Several of my friends have had great success with weight loss surgery. I want to do this without surgery. I need to do this for my health. All help is welcome.

HI I'M HAPPY YOU ARE MAINTAINING BECAUSE WHEN YOU HIT YOUR GOAL WEIGHT IT WILL BE MUCH EASIER. I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER IF YOU'RE DOING THE SAME EXERCISE ALL THE TIME, YOUR BODY WILL NOT BURN AS MANY CALORIES BECAUSE YOUR BODY GETS USED TO IT AND IT DOESN'T WORK AS HARD. YOU NEED TO SWITCH THINGS AROUND AND CONFUSE YOUR BODY. IF YOU ALSO DON'T EAT ENOUGH YOUR BODY GOES IN A STARVATION MODE AND HOLDS EVERYTHING YOU EAT. I WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE EATING A GOOD BREAKFAST. LOVE ALWAYS JOHN

Maintaining your weight is a huge accomplishment. You can trust me on this because I haven't managed to! Seriously, just staying in one place takes a lot of effort sometimes. But I agree: we can do better. Just keep trying! Don't give up!

Hi, I have only lost 1.5 lbs since I have started SP in May. I want to keep it off just like you. If I can lose a little here and there and keep it off, I will be happy. I know it is going to take time and I am fine with that. I know that you will succeed. Having maintained is great. I have difficulties in the winter time and I think this is the first winter that I have not gained. Good luck! Spark friend! emoticon
