Day Two Disaster

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Well, yesterday was not a good day. What a way to start out a new lifestyle change!! I guess I can't expect to be able to change right off the starting line. I hardly ate anything at all yesterday because we were traveling up to Salt Lake. And from where I live it's about a 2 hour drive. I drank a Caffeine Free Diet Coke and ate a small bag of chips (OUCH!!) for breakfast on the way up. Once we got here, I met up with a friend and we took my two youngest girls to see Shrek. Which, I did okay. Minus the fact that I ate Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for lunch (Double Ouch!!!) Then, when my mom got home, she wanted to take us to see Karate Kid. But first, she took us to McDonald's for dinner (Triple Ouch!!!) where I got a chicken sandwich and fries and a root beer. I didn't eat all the fries or drink all the rootbeer, but I sure had bad stomach ache after that!

Then later last night, I was watching another movie with my girls on the Disney Channel. After they fell asleep, I went straight to the freezer where I ate some Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and an Ice Cream Bar (Quadruple Ouch!!!)

Today will be better. I'm heading back home and I'm really excited to get there so I can go work out. It's hard to be able to go for walks with my girls because they like to stop and look at every flower and blade of grass along the way. But I'm excited to go home and get some sort of physical activity in. Even if it's using my WiiFit. I'd like to lose about 10 pounds by June 27th. It's the family reunion on my mom's side. My mom's side is a large family. Not large as in a lot of people, although there is a lot of people, I meant large as in very obese. And I don't want to end up with the problems that 95% of them have.
