Not hungry, just bored

But all I want to do is snack. There are so many yummy things in my house right now that I just want to snack on, and in all honesty, probably would if I wasn't aware that what I'm feeling is boredom and not hunger. The silver lining in this is that I'm actually aware of what I'm feeling and I'm paying attention to it. I'm glad that this is one more baby step I've learned along the way while working to be more healthy....mind, body, and soul.

    At least you can control your emotion to binge now. It took me forever, and I still get the urge; but I too have learned how to control my desire to binge.

    That's cool....it's also good to have healthy options to "snack" on..celery, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, etc.. I used to eat when "bored" and identifying it is the 1st step. I have lost 20 lbs and LOVE seeing the scale go down so I have learned how to make better food choices. Congrats to you!

    That's exactly what I thought today -- Baby Steps -- to help me stay encouraged about the conscious well-intended efforts I am making to get healthier, and sometimes slipping.....I know over time I can get there, We can get there, one baby step at a time! :-) Thanks for the confirmation and congratulations on making yours!
