Is It Wednesday Already?? YES!!

Went running this morning - training for our 5K. We were both tired so our time was not the best, but it was better than the first time we did it. Those hills still just get me. Give me some flat road please: ) It felt good to run and just be outside. Supposed to go walking this afternoon with a friend but it looks like rain. So we'll see. Could not do my push-ups this morning, so sore from upper weights yesterday. Will try those tonight, hopefully not as sore.
Feeling better this morning after my stress out last night. It's just that in all the years we been married I've never felt such pressure to do this thing with him. It was supposed to be something for him and brother in law to do, but then my sister started riding with them and now they all think we should do it together. It's like it comes at me from all sides and after awhile I break down and it gets to me. My friend I ran with this morning suggested that I tell them all if they will ride bikes with me I will ride motorcycle with them. LOL - They are all couch potatoes, can't even get them up to go for a walk. It's not like I pressure them to join me. So whatever.
Time for some oatmeal and get my lunch together. Hope it's not raining this afternoon, think I could use some more walking endorphins.

    Question - Is the motorcycle thing like the pool/swimming thing? Have you ever been on a motorcycle?

    Don't get me wrong. I am not advocating motorcycle riding. If my boys came home talking about wanting a motorcycle I think I would flip out. Seriously.

    I'm just wondering where exactly you stand regarding the motorcycle and if it can be once in a while or never?

    Exercise has a great way to clear our minds and make us feel better. I'm sure you and your hubby will find a compromise and it's good to have some separate interests - as long as you have things you like to do together too. You are always an inspiration with your active lifestyle.

    yesterday I did a running camp *(read my blog) and with each lap I wanted to quit, but I had two other ladies there who wanted to quit to, but we didn't and at the end we were so glad we finished.
