Last week's plusses & minuses...real life ..

Plus : An interesting week in Chicago. Great people, fun city..Challenged as expected.
Minus: Most meals were brought in..No fruits or vegetables to be seen anywhere..unless in a creamy potato filled salad or drenched in some creamy rich sauce..Don't get me wrong..The food was fabulous and there was lots of it, but I have worked so hard I did not want to slide back into old habits..I selected the lowest cal options available, kept portions small and tracked as best I could.
Plus : Drank more water than I ever have in my life, just to avoid the tempting treats..
Plus: I DID manage to get 3 sessions of running in on the treadmills, so that was great.
Minus :Picked up a stomach bug on the last day and have been out of commission ( food, tracking, exercise) completely , until today...
But,...that's OK! This IS real life..So today I started back on my routine...Actually had an appetite today..and managed to run 2.8 miles...SO close to my 3 mile ( 5K ) goal.
Plus: scale shows 2.5 lbs lost..Now at 68lbs total...(WOW)..Not sure if its a healthy / real loss, but next week will tell for sure..
