gettin' tough..in more ways than one!

Tuesday, June 08, 2010

Today I finished day 2 of level 2 in Jillian Michaels 30 days shred... it was so hard today I wanted to quit so bad! BUT i didnt,.. I took about two 5 second breaks like Jillian says you can if you have to. I think I was strugglin' since Im on nightshift.. I work 7pm-7am.

I only got 3 hours of sleep this morning because my gram has been staying with us for about 2 weeks.. something isnt right with her and she was admitted to the hospital this morning for further evaluation. =( I think the only reason I was able to workout today was because of the stress Im trying to handle with my grams health. Its gettin' tough :(

But on a brighter note, IM GETTIN TOUGH!! I am starting to see results doing this 30 days shred.. not necessarily losing a ton of weight on the scale but I am tightening and toning up so well :) Ive come a long way.. but I still have so much further to go.. but Im excited for the journey!!

I try to remind myself to make these choices in my nutrition and excercise as a "new me" healthy lifestyle... NOT a diet. :) HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!

-please pray for my gram ** emoticon

I hope your grama feels better soon!
I feel you on the night shift + working out being hard.
I worked 8pm-4am for the last 10 months, and for the next few months I will be working 4am - 1230pm! It is so draining after a shift to want to do nothing but sleep!
Hang in there, and I am sure it will all work out!~ emoticon
