C25K update

Ran on May 1. It was a total high. I took off a couple of weeks and had to go all the way back to week 6 and I am spending 3 weeks completing it. A week on each of the three different day work outs. I really need to find another 5K to keep me focused. I am afraid of the heat in August and also would like a cheap one to get more of my family to do it with me. My brother-in-law ran with me and I am not sure I could have done it alone. It is such a mind game to get out there and run. I take my clothes with me to work and go straight to the track from work. It has been blazing hot and I probably need to run in the evening or early morning. It's just a challenge to get up early or at the end of a long day. We'll see. Any slow joggers out there?

    Sorry it took me so long to find this. Yup, I am a slow jogger. In fact, I call what I do wogging (walk/jog). I love entering races though. I know what you mean about the heat. I live in Florida and it was unusually hot and humid all summer. I try to run early, but don't always make it. The race I did in August looked like a swimming event. Everyone was soaked from head to toe when the race was over. The humidity really slows me down and you really have to be careful to make sure you are hydrated. I have never had the privilege of having anyone run with me. I usually end up trying to pace with a stranger, but that is how you meet people too. You had a good time. I hope you run again soon. I try to register for a race as soon as I finish the last one. That is the only way I can keep motivated. Nice blog.
