I'm telling you... I honestly don't know how I even functioned without my iPhone back in the day...lol. Seriously!
With this piece of technology in my hand I am one productive lady. Namely, I track my food, exercise and water intake like the wind with the SparkPeople app. I'm so incredibly busy and all over the place that without my iPhone and that app, I don't think I would be as "SP Successful" as I have been.
Another thing I do is write constant notes with the Notes feature on my iPhone. Business ideas, mission statements, 'to watch' classic movies list, budgets, grocery lists, birthdays, car service notes, you name it.
But my most important note is "Don't OE".... ie. "Don't OverEat"
Here is the list I've compiled for my "Don't OverEat" To-Do List. In other words, every time I recognize that I'm overeating, I stop and do any of the things listed below.
Drink 1-2 cups of water
Brush teeth (with a minty toothpaste)
Do quick jumping jacks
Do quick push ups
Take a walk
Exercise DVD (mine is a great, 10 minute Winsor Pilates DVD)
Call a friend/have a conversation (totally works every time!)
Do a load of laundry
Do my nails
(FYI.... Peppermint is a natural appetite suppressant. So I use it heavily for cravings and overeating, as you'll see.)
Sugarfree mint gum
Dot of Splenda on the tongue (for sweet tooth)
1/2 bottle of 5 Hour Energy (for B vitamins, energy and sweet tooth)
1/2 Skinny Cow White MINT Truffle Ice Cream Bar, 50 cals (for sweet tooth)
**QUESTIONS TO SELF:**
Question #1: Is TOM making a visit anywhere in the near future???? (so many times this simple question answers my cravings questions...lol)
Question #2: What exactly am I hungry for? (Evaluate) If not hungry for something specific, then...
Question #3: Am I really hungry? Bored? Lonely? Emotional? (Evaluate)
