Day Two

I am back and on day two. I actually started yesterday. I have already set up my Food tracker, Fitness Tracker, my goals, and I have started a Journal and I just remembered that I could get on my own blog and visit with all my wonderfully supportive friends. God bless you all and so sorry I was gone for so long. I hope all are doing well and I hope all are progressing as hoped toward their goals. I weigh 174 currently and my goal is to lose 40 lbs by Sept 27th, which is my husbands 50th birthday. He wants to go to the Renaissance Festival. We went last year for the first time and didn't dress up. He loved it and is all excited about going again this year but this year he wants to totally deck out in costumes. Not only that but I am throwing him a surprise party for his birthday with his old band. I can't wait! Forty pounds in four months, 10 lbs a month, 2.5 lbs a week. I am also not setting myself up for failure as I am allowing myself until October 27th at the recommendation of the website but am striving for September. If I am super close but not quite there I will rejoice and no that the website said October would be more realistic. Wish me Luck (which let's face it losing weight has nothing to do with Luck) and Success!
PS I am going to get a before body picture up so that I can have a before and after picture to go along with the before and after inches and pounds. This is so exciting! Oh yeah...I quit smoking one month ago as of June 8th so I am having double the cravings for food and for cigarettes. God Bless you All
