Wow, this has been one hectic week - I am so grateful for a day off so that I can take a little time out!
My daily workload at the office has almost doubled in size and I'm trying to train a new person while staying on top of everything that keeps landing on my desk. On the home front, we have just listed our house for sale and there has been a non-stop parade of people coming to view the house. I am pleased that buyers are at least looking at our house, but having to keep the house sparkling clean and clearing out of the place with only 1 hour notice is getting to be a real pain! Hubby and I are also running out of ideas for places to go while we are out. It wouldn't be too bad if it was just us, but we have to take our great big dog with us wherever we go!
Needless to say, this week has not been normal food-wise. We've been unable to cook at home in the evenings and I've been too tired to make my lunches for work most days. Today I have half a day to myself and I want to make the most of it. The first thing on my list is to drink as much water as I can today. I am experiencing some pregnancy related swelling and I'm hoping that more water might help to flush it out a bit. I'm also going to chop some veggies and prepare a couple of healthy meals and snacks to stash in the fridge so I can grab them on my way out the door.
Hopefully that will be a good start to getting back on track.
