Quiet day at home.

Rather quiet day at home today. Went through my SP cookbook to set up a menu for the week. Added some of my won recipes (tweeked them to make them healthier) and made up my shopping list. I will do the shopping tomorrow since we have a new Fruit & Vegetable Stand called Big Papa's!! Everything about as fresh as you can get and the prices are VERY reasonable. For Northern VT/NH that is amazing.

Did my strength training today using the SP exercises and walked Sasha. Slowly getting into the habit of daily exercising. It's an uphill climb, but I WILL get to the top andmake this daily habit, not a chore.

Feeling more positive about things going on in my life. Better nutrition and semi-regular exercise are part of this the reason. The other part is a statement my friend Tammy made today. Tammy is a friend/cousin who recently went through bariatric bypass. She said: " You lose weight to please yourself, not others. No one in this world can make that decision for you. If you are doing it for someone else, it won't work. It must be a choice not a chore!" Sometimes Tammy is a pretty amazing lady!
