Hello JUNE, Hello SUMMER... PIZZA RECIPE!!!

Tuesday, June 01, 2010

Personally, once June arrives I officially feel as if Summer is upon us. I love the feeling of leaving work and walking outside and feeling the warm sun and cool breeze. It makes me smile everyday that the weather us nice and I do not need to wear a jacket...

This past weekend was good. I ate well and I did Zumba on Saturday. I really should have done some more exercise but even though the weekend was relaxing, it was also VERY BUSY.

Yesterday I cleaned and organized my chaotic life. I feel better, less anxious because I know that all of my ducks are in a row... or so they say.

So last night my sister (A.K.A. maid of honor) and my Mom came with my to a Bridal store to start looking for wedding gowns. I probably tried on 10 or so and I found one that I absolutely love. It is actually about 1/2 size too small so I have so work to do! Lots of motivation. Just my luck, however, it is a discontinued style so I had to pay 25% down on it to hold it for me. I have an appt. to go back in 2 weeks with my other bridesmaids and have then see it. I hope everyone likes it because I felt like it was the one when I had it on.... and even better it is the style that I was envisioning the whole time!! It is 100% lace and I love it. I hope things work out. Finding my bridal gown was actually simpler than I expected. I never thought I would fall in love with one on my 1st visit to the store...

Today I am working until 4pm like usual & then going for a nice 3 mile run for my LAST WEEK OF C25K!!!! WooHoo!!!!

My first 5K is only 2.5 weeks away so I have got to get my butt in gear!!!

I made some homemade pizza last night that was delicious, It satisfied my pizza craving yet it was HEALTHY... Here is the recipe...

1 Naan Whole-Wheat Bread
1/3 Cup of Classico Tomato and Basil Sauce
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
1/2 Cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Cup of Chopped Onion and Pepper(Or any other Veggies)
1 Slice Chopped Bacon (Optional)

Spread the olive oil and tomato sauce on the bread then top with cheese and vegetables. Add pre-cooked bacon and bake in oven for 15 minutes at 425. Then it is done!!! ... This recipe makes 2 servings with each serving having 440 Calories which is the perfect amount for a meal!!!

I LOVED IT!!
