This is not the biggest loser!

Monday, May 31, 2010

I have been trying to upload a video blog for over four hours and it just keeps saying there is an error so i give up! Just going to have to clear my head the old fashion way!

I wanted to give an update as far as my 30 day detox was going and i have to say i failed. It started out with a soda then spiraled into a three day fast food binge. Id like to take a moment to tell everyone who watches and reads my blogs how sorry i am for the fact i couldn't even make it a week but i have learned a few things. I think i took on to many things at once. I think if you take on too much at once if you fail at one thing you feel like you failed the whole thing.

But i have learned that this is reality this isnt the biggest loser where i can just go to a ranch where all they have is healthy food. Its almost like the biggest loser is rehab for fat ppl or something!

I did do a few things well, like drinking all my water plus some! Working out i did great and i did manage to squeak by with a three pound loss. And i have my college orientation on this Wednesday so im very excited! So tomorrow brings with it a whole new month and a new day that i can try again. Im also thinking of tackling quitting smoking again...Probably Wednesday when i will be pretty busy and keep my mind off things!

This blog may have started off as a experiment but iv decided to turn it into a documentation of my journey and struggles with weight loss and anything else life throws at me. I hope you all continue to enjoy it!

I find it to be really impressive that you were able to get on here and write about it and hold yourself accountable for the poor decisions. I think that alone says alot! We have all been there and this journey will have sooooo many ups and downs. Just be proud that you handled it the right way and maybe change up the program a little. I agree with the other member on here, maybe the smoking alone is enough to tackle for the first month or so! Whatver you decide, we will be here to support you! :)

I agree- you need to take baby steps. Decide on one major area and goal within that goal to start with. Quitting smoking is a lot all by itself. Maybe start there and then tackle healthier eating and exercise in the months ahead. Try to remember any changes you make now are improvements. You can't expect to change yourself completely overnight.
