A Sunday Food Blog & Weekend Recap (Pictures!!!)

Well... I did not get to go on my hike on Saturday that I wanted to. I was very upset about it. My fiancée owns a landscaping company and jobs come up all the time that he has to go and complete regardless of other plans. It really bothers me that this always seems to happen when we are going to do something together that I had planned and that I am so excited for. He has promised me that we will go soon... I guess I will just wait and see how this plays out...

On a brighter note I have had a fantastic weekend so far. I ate healthy all week end and I went to Zumba on Saturday and burned 463 calories in the 1 hour!!!

I find that I over eat when I am at work, at the restaurant, on Sundays. I decided that I am going to do a Food Blog each Sunday now to try and keep myself accountable to what I put in my mouth. Here is first Sunday food blog from yesterday!!!

Breakfast ----- 1.5 egg omlette with peppers, onions, chopped broccoli, and 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese along with half an english muffin, .5 ounces of strawberry jam. I also had 1 serving of iced coffee with milk and sugar with 12 ounces of water.

Calories: 447 Calories / Fat: 21g / Carbs: 42g / Protein: 24g

Lunch ----- 1.5 cups of a fresh tossed salad with 1/8 cup of chicken salad and 2 tbsp. of Newman's Light Italian Dressing along with 12 ounces of water.

Calories: 198 Calories / Fat: 15g / Carbs: 8g / Protein: 8g

Dinner ----- 1.5 ounces of both grilled chicken and steak along with 1 medium ear of corn, and 2 VERY large servings of grilled asparagus, zucchini, squash, peppers, and onions along with 24 ounces of water.

Calories: 326 Calories / Fat: 11g / Carbs: 29g / Protein: 31g

Snacks ----- My first snack was a medium banana with 1 Slimquick packet and 16 ounces of water. Second, I had .5 cup of fresh blackberries with .5 tsp. of sugar and 16 ounces of water with a Slimquick packet.

Dessert ----- My family had a cookout and a bonfire last night so I had 4 toasted marshmallows in which I made one into a S'More with 1/5 hershey's bar and 1 graham cracker... DELICIOUS!!!!!

Totals for Dessert & Snacks: Calories: 347 Calories / Fat: 5g / Carbs: 80g / Protein: 4g

Calories: 1,319 Calories (1,410-1,760 Range)
Carbs: 159g (187-270 Range)
Fat: 52g (37-65g Range)
Protein: 66g (60-145 Range)

Also... I went to see Sex in the City2 with my MIL on Friday night and I got to the theater a little early. I walked over to Old Navy just to try on a pair of pants.,... AND I FIT INTO A SIZE 10!!!! WooHoo!!!!! I was SUPER EXCITED!!!! ... Here is a picture of my in the dressing room wearing a SIZE 10!!!

Well that is all for my weekend! I am off to do some errands today and then head to a Bridal Boutique to look at a few wedding gowns!!!
