WOW!!!! This is a surprise!

Well, the other day I ate 4 slices of homemade pizza with the toppings that would put weight on me in a large amount. So, I thought. Well, for a couple of days afterward I exercised and ate right and hopefully I learned my lesson.

Today was my 1 month anniversary on SP and I said," Well, I'll go and weigh myself at the scale at Publix anyway." I thought the worst and hoped for the best. I approached the weigh-in with a negative attitude and was sure that I didn't progress. Even though I made adjustments and kept on exercising afterward, I still thought that the SP lifestyle program would not help me like all the other programs.

I found the bravery to get on the scale once again. In front of others checking out at the store, I put one foot slowly on and soon after the other foot. I looked up and took my hands off of the bars that supported the weigher. Standing there, I stared and stared. I bent over slightly and looked closely at the calibration. Sure enough I lost more weight for a total of 15 pounds!!! The stick hovered between 270 and 269 and I settled for 269.5.

Walking home, to get in my exercise for the day, I smiled and was still in shock as well. I found the courage to take my measurements for the month and found out that I lost 3 inches off of my hips and 1 inch off my waist. later, I still had energy to go another 30 minutes on the treadmill. This was food to my soul.

    Hi, what I found the most helpful, is just that exercise, exercise! Over the past few days I walked and did a lot of yard work to lose a pound even though I had more food then usual. It is not an excuse to eat more, but if you have a slip, then what you did is perfect and sounds like you were nice to yourself..which is so important!!! Keep up the good work, congrats on your loss!
