Supper & Weigh-In

Friday, May 28, 2010

I forgot to post yesterday. My hubby and I had tuna steak for supper last night. He ended up cooking it with just a little creole seasoning. I am not a big seafood person but I was able to eat some of it. It tasted like real beef steak till the end. It was extremely good to be seafood. emoticon

Also we ended up getting pedometers and a small weight set to add to our exercising stuff. emoticon I was thinking about getting the 10 lb Kettlebell set. Has anyone ever tried these? emoticon

I had my weigh-in this morning. emoticon I gained 0.8lbs. I am ok with that. I am still in the "onederland." emoticon I believe the following are the reasons for the gain. I have not eaten like I am suppose to this week. Also, Sunday will start my week 3 without smoking. emoticon

I am off to lay back down. I hope everyone has a great Friday. emoticon

Thank you Trish and Sew for your comments. Sew - cooking the tuna steak was so EASY! Well I watched my hubby do it, lol. He sprayed a frying pan with original Pam and put Creole seasoning on the tuna steak. As the pan heated up and the Pam started smoking he turned the heat down and placed the tuna steak in the pan. He then cooked the tuna steak on each side for 2 minutes each. The tuna steak was great! emoticon

Try marinating tuna steaks in Italian Dressing (I use Fat Free) for 30mins to 1 hour before grilling or baking Tuna. It is wonderful. Do not over cook should just be flaky.
I am glad you tried the Tuna and are trying to eat more fish.
It is great that you purchased weights.
Hope you are feeling better. Have a Great Day! emoticon

Well, I think you're doing GREAT! It's brave of you to try cooking the tuna steaks also. They're something I've been too chicken to attempt.

    Keep up the good work!
