Funny thing happened to me today...

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Last weekend I lost my clip-on sunglasses at my favorite downtown shop. I was disappointed that I couldn't find them anywhere in the store when I KNEW that I had slipped them in my pocket when I walked in the door. When we got home my hubby thought of a place they could be but I had to wait until it was open again. I biked there today and walked right to the clothing rack...

emoticon and low and behold they were tangled in a top that I had held up to myself that day... right where my husband thought they might be (after the shop was closed!) I chuckled with the store owner over that one... and made a new friend. I think that shirt wants me to buy it, although it isn't my normal style. It is a long red knit (I dont know quite how to describe it) I think you are supposed to wear it over a tank top and jeans.

I will think about it!!!

Anyhow... I took care of a lot of stuff today, mostly stayed on track, and had a great day!

Now if I could ever get to bed on time...

Thanks for the laugh. I enjoyed that. I do think you would look nice in red, my daughter has similar coloring to yours and she looks really good in red so I say, go for it. Maybe I just want you to have the shirt so you can say to people "This is the shirt I found my sunglasses in one time....." every time you wear it! What a great story to build a friend on! I'm so glad you are having funny days and feeling accomplished! Have a nice weekend!

It's great you found them. They could have easily walked. It's also great that other customers left them where they were.

    Have a fantastic day!

That is funny, but I'm sure glad that you found them though! I have a hard time going to bed on time sometimes too! lol
