Changing my coworker

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

I have a coworker who is thin, 25 years old and has a high motabilism. All day she usually eats junk food & fast food and drinks mt. dew & ice coffee. Well, that has all changed. She sees the changes I have made and now I see her looking at labels, eating better, drinking water and less soda and now she says she goes for walks with her sister-in-law. I think our talk about physically changing after 30 might have gotten her on the right track. So, I have to say that I am taking credit for my coworkers changes.

Good for you and your coworker. If she continued her current eating habits she might discover at age 35 that she is overweight with high cholesterol and any other problems that come with that type of eating behavior. My daughter discovered that skinny doesn't last forever after the birth of her child. Life wakes us up at some point. lol

Good for you! Impacting those around us not only helps them toward a healthier lifestyle, it also reminds us about why we are on this journey, and reinforces our resolve!

    Great Job!

Congratulations for being a positive role model for your co-worker. Someday she'll look back and remember it was you who set her on the road to becoming healthier.
