Amazing! Didn't gain!

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

I weighed today for the first time since May 2nd. My son was in for almost 3 weeks & I ate really bad a lot of the time. Donuts, pizza, ... you get the picture.

So, I really expected to have gained about 5 lbs. I was so shocked when I saw that my weight was exactly as it was on May 2nd. I know, you're wondering if my scales work. Trust me, I had to check that out so weighed my granddaughter just to be sure.

I can give only God the praise and glory for this because I SHOULD have gained. I am just so excited!! I am going to get healthy and lose this weight by doing the things that I have learned from all of you and Spark People but also with the grace of God.

Wonderful that you didn't have a gain after all that bad eating...so now you can go on from here and get started eating healthy and eating better. Hopefully you will start losing soon.
One time after I started eating healthier I actually gained weight and had to figure out what I had done...I had figured in too much fruit for my days!!! Hope you do well with your new eating plan.

I'm glad that you didn't gain. I hope that you will choose one or two things to work on to move towards your healthy lifestyle and not beat yourself up for yesterday.

I know that God is a miracle worker and is involved in our restoring our temples through better choices.
