Shop Till You Drop--Pounds, That Is.

I need to do some less intense exercise on some days of the week. I have been working too hard, I think, and often have no energy after a workout or the next day. That needs to change. I need to listen to what my body is telling me.

So have plans this weekend to find some community garage sales where there many houses participating, and where I can walk from one to the other. I saw one advertised where over 60 families are participating.

I will take money with me and leave a deposit on something I want to buy, and later come around with a car and finish paying when I pick it up. I am a sucker for a bargain. Need to think of what I am looking for and not be tempted to add more clutter to my house. I'll be good, I promise.

On my wish list:
A weight bench, a higher exercise step, exercise videos, more dumbbells. I intend to scout out things at a brisk pace, so if my target items are there, I will in the right place at the right time.

I am going to put the recliner chair off limits and look for more less and fun activities for the weekend. Hiking in the woods? Walking to a destination, the coffee shop perhaps? Suggestions welcome.
