Even the best athletes have bad days...

First, THANK you to all who left the encouraging comments on my blog!!! It meant so much to me!!! As you may have guessed, I struggle with perfection and sometimes let it get the best of me. As I struggled with my 2nd run, I kept telling myself that no one is perfect and even the most elite athletes in the world have bad days - it's all part of the training process. As long as I try it again I will keep succeeding. I also learned a valuable lesson - our bodies truly are designed to operate optimally with the proper "fuel". If you bog the body down with junk food and alcohol, your body will not perform at it's best (and you will be sucking wind and feel like your legs are made of concrete as I felt today...twice).
The upside...I burned a total of 530+ calories and ate a VERY healthy Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
If at first I don't succeed, try try again.
