Still going strong, still losing pounds, and still totally stoked

We've been steadily increasing the distances we ride on our bikes lately. Wife has been biking to work ( @ 12 miles one way ) and I go with her and of course we take little family trips on bike paths here in Az and have begun taking the bikes over to the store for smaller shopping trips.

Not only has this been a great deal of fun but incrementally - every week or two - I will see a couple more pounds disappear. I've dropped a pants size or two ( 42 to 40'ish ) and all this after briefly believing that a plateau was nearly impassable.

Today after our "family ride" of 7.99 miles my Wife reminded me to log my miles. Upon doing so I found I've crossed 200 miles for this month so far! TWO HUNDRED! I looked at the date and said "Wow. I am really going to have to go for atleast 300 now" and decided I was excited enough to type it down and make a blog entry.

In addition I saw that my wife and I are among the monthly leaders in a tracking area called "ride 20 miles per month". I fully intend to ride far more than 20 miles per month but this area has an easy to use tracker that shows up in my "other goals" area.

In summary- this is exciting as hell! And I feel great. So, to express this joy, I have to post a 17 second completely unrelated but excellent youtube video. Thanks for reading and being Sparkers!
