I'll Take It.

Yes, yes, yes. I'll absolutely take it! I'm telling you... this goal setting thing really works... who knew?!? (lol...)

Back in March, I'm telling you that scale was just NOT budging. It wasn't even thinking about it. 199. 199. 199. You remember...I talked about it in my last blog. Mid March, 199. Late, March 199. Mid, April 202. Late April, 199. Early May, 199. It was BEYOND aggravating.

My body was maintaining nicely and my clothes did feel looser and looser during this whole time, BUT that plateau was killer. Then May hit, I'm looking at where I should be and I was just UPSET. I mean, I live in Miami. And when bikini season hits, it's no joke.

So I decided to set mini May goals. Simply 2 pounds a week. (you can see it on my page) And I'm telling you, it has completely got me in attack mode.

First week I didn't budge. The scale was in danger of being destroyed, but then, earlier this week, two things happened. I just got focused. I mean I was just "in a zone" daily. Counting calories, multiple daily workouts for at least 500 calories burned.

The other thing that happened was a friend ticked me off something royal. And I mean it was like pure anger and hurt ruling over me for a minute. And surprise, I had no idea I could run that fast and that hard on the treadmill. lol. Wow.

Anyway, the scale finally cracked. I was maintaining at 197. Then it switched to 196. And I killed the past couple of days because I wanted to hit my weekly goal to be at 194. But in the end, my scale has decided for 195. So once again, the goal is ahead of me. But you know what?? I'll take it.

Moral of the story? Set the goal. And mini goals are just as effective. So set them too. Oh! And when you're angry, get on the treadmill. Burn while you burn...lol. Everything helps!! (lol)
