Getting somewhere!

Saturday, May 15, 2010

I've only been dieting and working out for 1 week, and I've lost 3 lbs. Some of it might be water weight though ... I just started on birth control and it's making me all bloaty, so I took some Diurex. But I don't think that's it though. I can feel my waist (my biggest problem area) shrinking! I'm trying to up the ante to working out between 1.5-2 hours a day, since I only have 2 weeks till I go back to school. I know this is unhealthy weight loss, but I really just wanna get back down to the size I was before. I know how to maintain weight, and I'm not doing anything too drastic. I've just got to keep up the good work! Go me! :)

Thanks for the comment. I should keep that in mind. I really only want to lose 10% of my body weight, so hopefully I should be OK.

I'm not cutting my calories drastically and I don't think I'm working out too much (?), so I think I'm OK.

Be sure you're following healthy guidelines.
Also remember that when you lose about 10%, your body will stop and have to re-evaluate it's position (otherwise known as a plateau).
