Why is it?!?!

Friday, May 14, 2010

Why is it that people have to be just so down right mean?!?! I had someone call tonight (at my place of employment, I answered the phone) and said that there was this really "fat" women behind the desk and they needed to complain about her. Yes, she was talking about ME! I almost burst into tears right then and there. I mean I know that I'm no skinny minny but just the rudeness of people. Haven't they ever thought that those words may hurt someone?

I will overcome my weight issue...I will because I'm just DONE!!! :-) so there is light at the end of the tunnel...I KNOW I can DO THIS!

I would have laughed, since I knew she was talking about me. WHO is she to you? NO ONE. I would have laughed in her face, and said "OH! You must be that snooty female that gave me problems earlier. Sorry. I'm at the top. There's no one else. Buh bye now." *click*
You will do this. YOU WILL. And you're beautiful just as you are. We're doing this for health and not so much vanity. We're doing this cuz our babies need us. People who say stuff about us, the strangers anyway-we need not take any thought of. They're just put here to test us. They're really not anyone to us.

She is the one who is fat, fat in the head. What a thoughtless woman. She is probably a insecure, low self esteem woman who has to make others feel bad in order for her to feel good. I know you can overcome this setback in emotional stress by becoming stronger in your determination. Congratulations in not stooping to her level and letting it derail your program. You should be congratulated. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

That was very mean of her to say that! And I have found that usually people like that are harboring some kind of misery themselves. So to get the focus off their miserable existence they ridicule others. Its not fair at all. I dont think this person would say something about a blind person, or a deaf person, or handicapped person. It makes me made that being overweight is the one prejudice that people cant seem to ignore. You are the better person and I can see how it would upset you but, she doesnt know who you are, your personality, your caring qualities, she is forming her opinion solely on your weight. I'm sure she has some issues herself. So dont take it personal. Your doing something about your weight, and until "society" feels that your at the correct weight, you might encounter ignorance like that. The important thing is that you dont let it discourage you in your journey to better health!

You WILL overcome your weight issue and you CAN do this. And then you will no longer be "this "fat" women behind the desk" but that mean woman on the other end of the phone will still be a miserable, unhappy, and angry old B*tch!!!! Weight is just one part of your life. Her miserable attitude poisons everyday and every relationship she has. You are the better person here - fat or skinny!
