Taking a little control back

I was thinking about spending another night logging extra time at work, arriving home dispirited and ready to eat any crap I could find. And then I told myself "I need to exercise. Exercise will make me feel good."
So I went home
I exercised for the first time in 5 days
I minimized my exposure to a negative force in my life (actually two)
I actually bought some food for myself
More steps are necessary, but these were gratifying ones to take.
