I always seem to give up

Hello spark people. i haven't logged in for a while...
guess what? i gave up on my diet.. again. and i gained more weight.
i'm feeling bad for having the weight i currently have... kinda too ashamed to even talk about it.
last friday i was trying on some clothes.... like short, tops, dresses... but i didn't feel pretty on them. Specially on the dress: you could see my whole belly... argh! it look hideous...
on that point i thought that i should diet again. but i have a problem: i always seem to give up on my diet. i don't seem to be able to hold onto the routine i created. for example - i execercise at home and i can do the stepper 2 weeks in a row. then i start being lazy! i go like..."i'll do it tomorrow" and that's how i lose my diet. last month i was doing push ups... i was able to do 50 in a row, and then simply stop doing them.
i also have a problem with food: when i think of dieting, i feel trying new healthy combos of food... when i'm not even hungry!
it sucks... i know if i had enough money to hit the gym, i'd sure never miss it (because i would be paying for it and therefore i would have to go), but i don't.
my best friend told me once we could start running, and we did run.. once! we ran like 6 miles or more.. (kinda walk/running because we were always stopping). 2 weeks later after that i convinced my brother to run with me as well, but our pace wasn't syncronized, so i had to wait for him (he hasn't exercised in YEARS)
I need something to help me, something that won't make me give up :S i feel kinda lost because i'm afraid i'll give up again, i tend to ruin my diet over and over again
