Spice up the cardio----

I am more of your traditionalist when it comes to cardio.
I love walking, jogging (as interval training),
riding bike, swimming (these two don't really feel like a work out because I love them so much- even swimming lots of laps)
Hiking i love because I have the Appalachian trail right behind the house which makes it easy to get to and well there are also a few state parks withing 10 miles from home that have a lot of different trails to take advantage of (Fall and spring because I love the cooler temps to hike and they are my favorite times of the year even with my allergies)
Just looking for other ways to spice things up a bit-- would love the feed back

    I too love to get outdoors for my cardio but my work doesn't give me time off so I do a lot of walking around town here. I would love to get up in the woods and just hike away.

    Zumba is my favorite!

    You can usually find it at any gym, community center and such!

    So fun if you like to dance especially!

    Nice, I too love to get outdoors for my cardio. Jumping rope, playing kick ball or walking/running with the dog.

    I'm with you. I mostly do the things you listed. One of the classes I have taken at the Y that I like is a combo boxing. It's lots of fun and really make you sweat. I wish they had the bags to hit, but we just punch the air. Sometimes classes are a good way to mix it up. emoticon
