Thats the best title i could think of as i was gone probably three wks. So in case any of my fellow sparkers or gamers wondered i was at oldest daughters house three hrs away when she had my third grandbaby. another boy for her and the last child as she had her tubes tied on the ole dutiful gramma (me!!) taking pics and videos left and right as mom couldnt and daddy was too i was right there when they brought him from the delivery room..c i got the whole process and was pretty amazed at how advanced medicine has become. when i had my kids all the measuring, weighing etc was done behind the scenes and i just got the finished product. so this experience was pretty amazing. the little guys name is logan thomas. the cutest thing ever.( of course im his grammy) barely 7 lb 19 inches..he did have a touch of jaundice which is normal in babies but it persisted even to two wks of age. so dr wanted mom to stop nursing a few days to see if the level would go down. i guess thats the first course of action with these cases. so mom had to pump and feed formula. babe goes for blood test tomoro 5/4 to see if the level has gone down. if not i assume mother goes back to nursing(i think) and he has to go under the special lights. gosh poor thing. any of you go through this? any input would be appreciated as u have one worried gramma here.thanks for taking the time to read this as i had quite a few requests as WHEN i was going to write it. now i need to find some good fotos and post on my page..
