Goals for May

All righty, it's that time of the month--to post the goals and get a feel for what's in store! Perhaps even to reflect a bit on the previous month.

Basically, April wasn't all that stellar of a month. I took it pretty easy with the goal-setting and ended up setting the goal of finding one accomplishment/victory each day and writing it down. For the most part, it worked and was neat to see what all I felt accomplished about. Most days I could find something fairly easily, but there were days where I totally had to pull something out of thin air because I didn't really feel like I had a victory over anything.

This month, I have determined I need to get back on track with things and have set some goals to reflect that:

***Water: drink 8-10 8oz glasses each day (I'm actually pretty good about doing this on a normal basis, but it's a goal that I like to keep)
***Exercise: 30-60 minutes 5x/week
***Write down at least one victory/accomplishment each day
***Listen to a "Power Up" song each day (for right now, the song I'm picking is "Say Goodbye" by Joy Williams--to be explained in a later blog)
***Track my food intake

So far, I'm doing okay. I banked 157 minutes of exercise yesterday by doing Bloomsday, but that's outside of my normal routine. Of course, Bloomsday made it on the "victory" spot for the day yesterday. :)
