Good Weekend

Well, it was a drill weekend, but still a good one. Friday night was a good friend of mine's graduation party. He completed med school, I am so proud! We went out to a local bar we all pretty much met at, and had a great time. I had drill, so I didnt drink nearly as much as all of my friends, but I did have a few drinks. Went over on calories by about 400.

But I made up for it after drill on Saturday. :) Did sprint circuits for 55 minutes. For some reason I could not talk myself into that last 5 minutes. Either way, it felt GREAT. And I burned 640 calories, more than enough to make up for the 400 I went over. Then Saturday night I went out to my friend Leslie's house to hang out with her and Bernadette. Just chilled really, and then went home at about 10:30.

Sunday after work I went to my boyfriend's house and we went and saw KickAss. I didn't realize that movie was going to be soooo bloody. I loved loved loved it! Me and my boyfriend love going to movies like that and just laughing at all of the insane death. We got some weird looks when we went to see Glorious Basterds because we were laughing so loudly as people were being killed. The way I look at it is that it was Quentin Tarantino. If you can't laugh at his gore, don't go see his movies!! Anyway, KickAss was pretty much made in the same style, and I loved it.

But I had a great weekend overall despite drill. I wish I could always drink like I have drill because I was easily able to make up for it, and I didn't feel guilty or even gross on Saturday. With Vegas coming up, I won't be drinking much at all, so we shall see how it works out.

I hope everyone is making it through Monday ok.

Oh yeah, by the way, my boss' boss asked me if I was losing weight today when I went in to talk to him. You would think 15 pounds would be sooner noticed, but in ACUs it isnt easy to tell. So that makes me smile!
