May Day!

Saturday, May 01, 2010

fortunately I've recovered from my mental distress. My workload peaked and I'm beginning to be sane again. I've revamped my goals to spur me on and this is the month I make headway; just watch me! I was reminded it's not about me; it's about letting God! Whew load lightens immediately. I am so thankful for all of the sparkpeople support - it really helped me to stop spiraling and regain my perspective.

Also ... the husband has gotten me a sweet new camera lens that has exciting capabilities close up and at a distance and has a nice attaching additional flash on order which will tighten my indoor people shots.

He also got me a sweet new sedan for mother's day - made every effort to get me just what I wanted and came through big time! The youngest learned a thing or two observing the business process of getting what you want for the price you want and was impressed and proud of his daddy. Check out my chocolate filled black cherry treat:

and for the lens work check out the other recent photos.

I'm blessed!

a car for Mother's Day??? does your DH offer lessons in gift buying??? LOL!! it's beautiful. congrats!

Have you heard of a "slave flash"? it is is a wireless, remote flash that pics up a signal from YOUR camera, and flashes at the same time to add more lighting to your photo. when doing portrait work it is a very cool tool!! congrats on the new lens, too!
