Living Dangerously...

Saturday, May 01, 2010

Wow, what a tough week. Work was crazy busy. My assistant was on vacation, had to fire 2 people, Things got so crazy on Wednesday, I said to myself. Lord I am giving all this to you, help me stay calm and positive no matter what. 10 seconds later, someone came to my office and said, "We have a Big Problem" I replied, "Bring it on! I am the #1 problem solver" Then I came out of my office and yelled," anyone else have any problems, line up here!"

I was definitely tired and tempted to overeat! One day I went out to lunch with a coworker. She wanted to go to an all you can eat Buffet. Very Dangerous Territory. I did OK though, had fish and a lot of garden salad with fat free dressing.

Then we had ballgames today at the little league. Concessions stands are are also very tempting. Nachos with cheese, hot dogs, candy bars, and those darn walking tacos! Had a hot dog and some popcorn for lunch. Not the best, but could have done a lot worse.

It is going to be tricky trying to lose weight this summer. With summer parties, ball games, and vacations, things can get dangerous. I plan to be exercising as much as possible and trying to stick with loads of fruits and veggies to keep me full. One day at a time! One day at a time!

It's good you are planning now so you can make the best choices. It's hard because all those events are fun and we are used to enjoying all those yummy foods! But you are so right to concentrate on that "One day at a time" and asking the Lord for help is the best thing you can do too! emoticon
