Stress? What stress?

OMG. I am exhausted after this week. And I really haven't done a whole lot. Except dealing with car dealerships. And isn't that enough? Too bad that cars aren't just a set price, you order it online from the manufacturer, and it gets delivered to your door. But no. There is the MSRP, and then there is the "real" price, quite a bit higher than the MSRP. And then, of course, there are the games. I found a great car for me--a 2010 Hyundai Accent GSL (4 door)--that has power everything, and a satellite radio with an iPod hookup (really, how do people drive with all this stuff in their car????). My second choice is a 2-door Accent that is a beautiful light green (the 4-door is deep blue) Of course there is no green 4-door (the green, surprisingly, is my favorite). The 2 door doesn't have power everything (but has the radio) and the prices are comparable. They are at different dealers (hey, I can play games also!) I'm waiting from both places about the financing and who can get me the better interest rate. And I'm waiting. and waiting.... I call both places everyday to check in. And I'm still waiting. So, here it is the weekend, temperatures to be in the 80s, Express are in town so I'll be at the majority of the games over the next week, and I still have no a/c. I'm a pretty patient person, but this is getting insane. But I'll continue to wait and get just the right car with the right payments. I'm just hoping that May isn't going to be like last year in May. We had many over-100 degree days last year starting mid-May. I will not be a happy camper if I still have no a/c! At least I should shed the last 3.2 lbs. that I have to lose to reach my goal pretty quickly! ha ha
Last Friday at TOPS, a lady brought me an old TOPS teeshirt (the "choosing to change" purple shirt with the chameleon on the front) and it was a size large. I had my old one in my closet, which was a 3XL. I wore the large to TOPS this morning and brought my old one and did a before and after. A few pictures were snapped, so I'll post them as soon as I get a copy. It's pretty crazy!
It seems that I have 2 cats that have made themselves comfortable on my back "porch" (a square block of concrete). I've noticed my indoor cats going crazy every once in awhile and running from one window to another. I put out food this afternoon and they gobbled it all up. Then they ran off. Now they are back. They are obviously a pair, but they look different ages. One was a lot scrawnier than the other and just ate and ate. Poor things. They are lying underneath my double rocking chair (which takes up most of my "porch"). I suspect they are out there a lot at night as my cats start going nuts when it is dark outside. Having a motion sensored light (since I had someone jump over my fence and try to steal stuff on my 3rd night here) I can't really turn on the porch light without having to dig out the manual to figure out how to reset the motion detector. I figured I had some creature out there--being out in the country I've seen a bunch (funniest was when I went outside after dark and evidently startled a bunny rabbit, which ran past me and scared the you-know-what out of me--but luckily it wasn't a skunk!) but I now think it has been these 2 kitties. I feel bad for them. :(
Cars and cats. Starting tomorrow I can write cars, cats, and baseball...and no a/c.... :)
