YAY!!! So Excited!!!!

I've been very good about getting at least 30 minutes of cardio every day since I started back on a healthy lifestyle. I walk before work... I walk at lunch time... I walk after work. If I can get in just one of those, I meet my minimum goal for the day. Even during the hot summer, I should be able to get in my before work walk, because obviously, I can shower before work.
But summers in Pittsburgh can be pretty hot & humid (although last summer wasn't so bad). I'm trying to always plan ahead... so there will never be an excuse not to exercise.
I was thinking I could bring clothes to change into for my walk at lunch... but in the summer... I still might get just too sweaty... so I thought, "Hey... maybe I'll ask my boss to put an exercise bike downstairs". I work for a VERY small company. Owner, his son is President, plus me and two other people. Just five of us. I figured, the worst thing that could happen was that he'd say no. My backup plan for that was... well... can I bring in an exercise bike? The backup plan for my backup plan... mostly pouting...
Anyway... on Wednesday, I sent my boss an email titled Company Fitness? And said...
So I was thinking how cool it would be if we had some exercise equipment to help keep the employees fit. Maybe an exercise bike downstairs on the scanner side? It might even mean a discount on health insurance. It sure would come in handy when the weather is too hot/cold/foul to get outside. =)
He left for the week on business almost right after I sent it... and I didn't expect an answer right away anyway. I figured I'd bug him next week or the following week.
I typically copy his dad on stuff like that... but I didn't this time. (my last proposal was Sangria Fridays where I'd bring in a new sangria every week... that was a FAIL... but it didn't hurt to ask right?)
Anyway... he's still out of the office... but just a little while ago his dad was here and said, "We really liked your suggestion. I have a treadmill and an exercise bike at home that we don't use. I'm going to bring them in."
